South Korean, New Zealand born dancer and choreographer Rina Chae, brought her international dance experience to Botany Town Centre.

She has choreographed for Monsta X and danced for popular icons such as Beyonce and Justin Bieber.

East Auckland is known for its large dance and K-Pop community and this project hoped to give them the stage to showcase their talents. It was amazing to see a few young local dancers turn up to take part!

Dancers performed for local shoppers in which an impromptu dance workshop and open freestyle jam were meant to follow. Unfortunately due to thunderstorm weather and wet grounds, the activation was cut short because of health and safety issues.
